We came close to love yet I did not know. Broken hearts are we not above, yet I did not know. Falling against your will, I wasn't aware. A friendship still, how much can we bare? My heart is hurting, your heart is weeping. Together we cling without ceasing. a neverending desire for caressing. I hold you steady, you do not run. I'm always at ready, we walk alone, under the sun. This road we did take, does have it's setbacks. But what a beautiful lake, where nothing lacks at the end. In the end, together we stand. 3/15/02 |
