Living in Alaska for six years, three years without 20th century plumbing, has given me a new modern non-Webster's definition of AFFLUENCE.

AFFLUENCE.
Affluence.
The epitome of affluence
is when the confluence
of the effluents
of the affluent
mesh,
yet the influence of
affluence
makes
no difference
where the effluents
meet
in Alaska.
No congruence.
Does this
make any sense?

It might make sense
after
you drink
three glasses
of wine, and then
seek the position,
where the effluence of
affluence meet.

Kacy,
There is a nuance of an influence of effluence! Or was that flatulence? I'm sorry it was probably the wine!

I believe you when you say it might make sense after three glasses of wine. Cause it makes sense after a couple of beers. And as for that f word that Larry was talking about….doesn’t he know that we women just don’t do those things?????lol

OK. I usually do everything with coffee. But tonight, it is SPRING, and I am celebrating. It was over +10F today...all day! And we should hit +29F by Sunday. Yes, it is time to celebrate.
Now, what's that got to do with anything???????

You consider 10F to be spring???? That's dead of winter to me. It was 10C today here....now that's spring!! Or, as my dad always says
Spring has sprung, the grass has griz
I wonder where the birdies is

ROTFLMAO. Tracey, where is the grass griz? And what is griz?

Pilgrim, LOL at your reply. SHH! May the confluence be with you! or was that the  effluence? or the congruence? or perhaps, the affluence? I think the affluents influence ruleth the world effluents.

LOL at you again, Larry. Did you know we have outhouse races here every year? Some really bored oldtimers decided years ago to put outhouses on skids and race them over the ice. But even affluent effluent isn't allowed in the race...no, these are not the real sheds on skids, just pretend porta-potties. See what these really long winters can do to otherwise normal people????
