How I will be able repay
for all you give, for all you say?
The gold of the world cannot be
enough to give, to you from me.

Words, costing only time to tell
of how I feel, now very swell.
Wishes, for a penny in fount
costing little, such small amount

I wish for the word to once say
how much I would give, and then pay
I cannot express deeply enough
of what you give, all the right stuff.

I could write till the well runs dry
and cry a tear, sound a sad sigh.
I could whisper, softly covey
I wipe each of your tears away.

I cannot give more than the gold
within this heart, where you I hold.
I fail to write strong feelings felt
from the cards that a true love’s dealt

I will simply go our loving way
as I kiss you, whispering say
that I will love you till cannot
for that is what this gold has bought!
