God's best gift "Make the price for the bride and the gift I am to bring as great as you like, and I'll pay whatever you ask me. Only give me the girl as my wife." NIV Genesis 34:12 A weak and puny lad would strangely sing Of God in heaven with priceless riches He read of Solomon, an awesome king Dreamed of wearing golden royal stitches. Looked on ev'ry girl as a priceless pearl No sweeter golden gift from God's heaven He boldly spoke; was called a joke, with curl With bles'sed dice always-rolling seven. The boy grew up, a man, and went to war He learned to dance and sing, romance and play And ev'ry where he went God blessed his star As He was led into a royal way. And then one-day sore sickness came his way The doctors said he would be dead, their claim But he was healed in God's Majestic Say And called by God to walk in Love's acclaim. To tell the world in truthful poetry That God is Truth and Love, and Love is free. Reach out, receive Love; Love is God's best Gift.
