The Coyote

Thin and dangly in the trees,
as though the fog had coughed and spit,
clearing itself
while leaving this
exquisitely
ornamental
look.

Ron, thanks, pardner. Kinda like this too, even if I do say so myself. Thanks. Bob PS I saw this fella this morning while leaving the house. He's been haunting me all day.

Bob

We have them running the back alleys looking for garbage or pets to feed on..and they are forlorn..until you here them calling in the night.  They do leave you feeling something more.  Enjoyed your poem!

BRAVO!!! Ooohhhh...this is soooooo beautiful, swseet friend, I love coyotes so much and the songs and howls they always sing always soothe me and inspire me when I visit the canyon! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Richard, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I'm HOWLING with pleasure at this one. I miss the coyote calls from the wild areas and hills of SoCal. Never thought I'd say that, but it's true. Well done, thanks RMW.
