Watchwords

I sometimes feel the world, it's crush
when words, those words are meant to hurt.
Though oft' denied, they do the same,
my feelings thus, become inert.

I reason this and reason that
and try to place myself in theirs.
Nevertheless, misunderstood
those words then consequence in flares.

So take another breath, do I
deeper still, inhaling words.
Then force it out to leave no trace
of meanings slanted, of those unheard.

I watch as words sent, cast a glow.
And leave the lost of, in the know.

May I keep this?   Wonderful writing!

Stars will shine when I am gone
Earth will spin on as before
Gulls still race along the shore
Morning star, still kiss the dawn

Wonderful writing - enjoyed. Chris
