(Crestfallen No More)

How Could One Forget the You

As I wipe the wake from these eyes
and rearrange the position of sit,
I catch the notice of your words
by smiling eyes, I must admit.

And as I try to breathe the air,
the atmosphere surrounding me,
I must admit, I'm missing you
the darkness, moon in symphony

To lay upon a heart that thrives
upon tomorrow's dreams defined.
You touch me, unforgettable,
each missing word, each absent line.

I feel the heat of sentiment,
adverse of course to circumstance.
I attitude my senses touch
when you I found this morn, by chance.

So how could one forget the You,
the You who always bumps a touch,
sending waves of smilingness
throughout the days of needing such.

**especially for you**
M

I feel your footsteps
within this poor poet's heart
does the moon still shine

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Maureen

I love your writing
It touches this poet's heart
Songs of love's sweet dart.
