Anticipation

Tonight the nightengale refused to sing,
The moon was covered by a thick dark cloud.
I waited for the kisses you would bring,
Then lips on lips our passions would unshroud.
I paced and paced while chanting your sweet name.
The pounding in my heart would not be still.
Soft thoughts of all your tender love I'd claim,
And fall beneath your spell with every thrill.
Just then..I heard the nightengale's love song.
The cloud began to move; the moon shined bright.
Then through the door you strolled..so big, so strong,
And lifted me into your arms of might.
..Oh yes my love, I've waited eagerly
..That we may share ourselves..so tenderly.

(smiles) Wow, ooohhhhhh...this is such a gorgeous sonnet, sweet friend, you truly are a queen of sonnets, you always make me smile with the romance you write in this form! (kiss on cheek) May the voice of the nightingale forever serenade your heart, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
