~* Out My Window Today *~
(for Titia's Challenge)
/pip/Forum7/HTML/000422.html#10

Out my window today its cold, dark, and gloomy,
the kind of day that chills you right to the bone.
A day that opens all those doors to depression,
as some sit inside pondering life all alone.

The kind of day that makes one really think,
about all the things that seem to make them sad.
They dig down deep to find all of them,
just to make sure that they feel really bad.

And just when they are finally ready to cry,
A flicker of sunshine starts to appear,
The warmth and glow of that glorious light,
seems to eliminate the sadness, and fear.

Funny how sometimes on a dark, dismal day
the weather can really affect the mind’s mood,
and just a simple little ray of sunshine,
has the power to make you simply feel good.

~* Sigh, hurry up spring ~*~

I hope you get your sunshine back, soon!  I enjoyed this poem - and, it's the same, here, today.

Mysteria...The mood and emotion of this poem powerfully conveyed. The images stuck in my mind, in my heart.   ***Ivy Rose

I do thank you - and living in Vancouver, I better like the rain, as it rains all the darn time.  This was just a poem to meet Titia's challenge and it is raining but what else is new!

It was warm and sunny and breezy today. About time. I've had it with cold and cloudy and 40 mph winds. I love sunshine. But I also love your poem. Well written.

WOW, glad I took a peek tonight in the blue pages to find your lovely 'out of the window' poem.

LOL I'm only getting depressed when I take a day off to work the garden and it's raining all day. That often happens to me, as it has today.

And Rosepetal, don't say that, I liked yours too.

Thank you all for reading this little ditty for Titia's challenge and by the way not only is it still raining, but it is raining buckets now, and running down the street in sheets - sheesh! Oh, Lady In White, thanks for putting the message out for "sunshine"

Here I are!  Isn't this one of your better ones, then!?  Thank you for sharing this.  I wouldn't mind some of your rain, please send!  I need to be making some rainbows, and it is a little hard to do with just dust....

Ah thank you guys for sending the sun (in more ways than one), it is actually a bit better here today, not raining and the clouds are parting, and I do believe your sunshine is trying so hard to poke through.

When it's raining, I want to curl up and take a nap... when the sun is shining, I want to be out playing... Getting through the work week when you never want to work is tough. *G*

I enjoyed this very much, Mysteria. *S*

Thanks Suthern Girl, but it is so awful today I am heading for a nap, rainish snow and horrible, just horrible, and this is mid March?  On days like this I envy you down there.

So true, so happy that 'tomorrow' came right there before your eyes as you wrote this piece.
