Julianna Corvollo

"A good name is more desirable than great riches;
to be esteemed is better than silver or gold."
NIV Proverbs 22:1

I walk in God's garden, observe all glows
Aroma of rose bud flows through my nose
And there in my twilight an Angel flows
Floating in rainbow mist as she goes.

My soul starts to melt as I long to mesh
Angel, sweet Angel please fly here to me
Come! Bring your healing into my hot flesh
Come change my misery to ecstasy.

She flies closer hovers; bright eyes I see
I reach out! She drifts some closer; and then
Just as I think her pure love comes to me
She fades back as if I'm too eager, it's sin.

My heart falls, as I know it surely is true
I'm lost in a fog wanting what I can't have
God surely watches whatever I do
Am I ready for such wonder such salve?

I ask, sweet Angel, what is your name, please?
Juliana Corvollo she says, leaves.

Oh, this poem melts into my heart with remembered passion and such sorrow! A writing which calls forth such emotion, is strong and good.

Thank you Karen. It's written for a lady I met at Target today, awaiting prescriptions. Her husband of 14 years left her last year with a 12 year old son for someone he met on the internet. She holds no hate and wishes him happiness but is very sad. When she found out that I was a poet she asked me if I would write her a warm poem. I could see that she needed a touch of love. (I told her that I was King Solomon and had 700 wives and 300 concubines.) And that I loved God and everyone the same way. And I would be glad to write her a poem of love. She seemed to understand.
