My Marsha fictional reply to a love letter…… or is it? My Marsha, regarding your letter I received it today It was lovely my Goddess you leave me nothing to say I would have written sooner but my secretary’s sick And you know darling one that her temp’s really thick Now don’t tell me darling that I should write it alone Why would I do that when I could use the phone? You wanted a letter darling so I’ll do my humble best Then send this out my dearest when I post the rest My Marsha, regarding your heart I hope its still mine It’s lovely to know darling, oh and the weather is fine There’s nothing to add; did you know my stock is up? I thought I’d let you know that’s all, just fill the cup No you stupid girl don’t write any of that down This temp’s so thick she’s making me frown Where was I? Yes of course I was saying I love you Now you’ll reply saying that you really love me too My Marsha, regarding your soul I hold it close to me It waits my darling until you can be here constantly I don’t really have anything to say you’ve said it all And you know my beloved Goddess I feel such a fool Can’t this letter wait until my secretary returns here? I don’t like this temp typing my love letters dear Well, yes like you I could write by hand that’s true But darling why should I?  (smiles) Awwwwwwwww, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I LOVE IT!!! I just love how you wrote as if it was a business setting and your love was like a president or manager of it, faxing a declaration of love! Marsha - This was very amusing, but the last two lines were very sweet. Now, if you are writing love letters to yourself, are you sending yourself flowers and candy as well.lol Actually, I know you probably get flowers from every man in England. They just better not give you tea.lol Dave |
