Last night, you
softly said hello
to my soul
awoke the ache
of missing you
….still….

Susan - Ouch!  This one hurt.  I have had the same dream, of course, mine was about a different person.lol  The poem, though short, sure packed a lot of emotion.  Nicely done.

As I sit here
in denial
I wonder how long
it will be
before I stop looking over my shoulder
hoping to see you
running after me

ok Duncan,
that reply made me cry
sometimes I wonder about you
sometimes I wonder how you can know
the wishes inside my soul
and write them so beautifully
and make my heart ache

thank you all very much...
my heart has been trying to do Spring cleaning of sorts, but some things we can
never throw out.....ever...

Sea sometimes we don't throw out things for a reason, they are meant to stay in our lives for a reason.  Loved this poem, and know this one too and wake up to it often.

The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives.
