Silent Words

My eyes want to close,
out of tiredness,
wanting to see again
that look of desire
in eyes staring down.
The circles under mine,
betray me, as I lie to myself
daily, in accepting
the emptiness I feel.

Remembering that first touch:
Warm and sweet
that moment
when fingertips
reach out,
hands connect,
kissed slightly
by white velvet rose petals
glistening with dew,
my body calling out
it's rhythm to you.
Yours sending
shivers of fire
to ignite the intensity of...

I close my eyes,
taking me there,
where your whispers
teasingly share,
where eyes watching from behind
raise me through the shadows of past
and with silent words
we connect, as you close in on me
and I release to you
the etched messages
awaiting your embrace.

Maureen darling girl, you know exactly what I’m going to say about this it’s spectacular. TRULY PERFECTION, never has this been said better. I know this well. You are an amazing writer of feeling and truth. The ache of regret laces through this beautifully

Fabulous writing darling utterly utterly fabulous

Love and warm stuff

Thank you Sandra, I am just going through a period of tiredness, I guess...sometimes it would seem better to just close the eyes and shut out the world...at least for awhile *s
