Say We Instead of I

W’ve learned to say we instead of I
To say hello instead of good-bye
And change my frown into a smile
From a constant wile into a style

We have learned to be a child again
And to wend within their greener glen
W’ve stopped the rushes of growing up
The maddening pushes to fill my cup.

We no longer feel I’ll never die
Or that the life I’ve lived is a lie.
And I know I cannot be the dove
We can only let ourself be loved.

We have learned that those that have the least
Have often savored the greatest feast.
And friends are those that know your inlay
And they truly like you anyway.

Yet still we stand on a precipice
Searching the essence of nakedness.

Sy, it is grand to review
the layers of learning
and discovery

if only our eyes could see
that clearly then
when we first say
the other side of it all

enjoyed it sir

Seymour darling boy shall I just say something short like this is good writing? Noooooooooooo of course not, because it’s not good writing, it’s stunningly fabulous writing. YOU are a superb writer my friend.

WE just came by to say
that your poetry makes our day
WE just want you to know
that we adore you so

WE want to make it very clear
that you are so very dear
WE crave your verse and rhyme
and your dragon cursing time   *L*

As for that precipice of nakedness ...
sounds like a Randy recipe for kiss of bliss.

*LOL*
*winkiewinkie*
Did I mention I love your inlay  *S*
yer soooo cooool.

JM,
I except your words as I accept you
They always fly from out of the blue.
Serve me the most delicate nector
A mirror with a self reflector.
You spirit me with jellybeans
And reams and reams of lovely dreams.
I follow you where ere you go
Like an old peter Pan with beard aflow.

This is superb, Seymour... I enjoyed it very much. *S* And every line could easily be my favorite... I chose these two to thank you for the smiles you give... and to say I love your style. *S* Excellent work!

You have this way with words and making your wise statements in a way that has always amazed me. I love your writing, Sir.

Now just how true is that?  The best Christmas I ever had was in this itty, bitty town, and remind me I will tell you all about it when I see you in April, it is worth the telling.   I loved these wise words of yours Sy.
