Hold me
in surrender
all of me
today
and
forever...

Listen
intuitively
to the whispering
of gentle sighs
that echo
from within me
just how much
I adore
only you...

Discard
any doubt
or twinges
of jealousy
and
trust
what is real
in this melody
of love
I sing...

Embrace
the essence
of who
I really am
rather than
frame me
into an
identity
of someone
from your
fantasies...

Simply
love me
as pure as
color white
not shaded
in tones
of ecru
be genuine
and always
true...

Soar
with me
beyond these clouds
of darkened yesterdays
farther than
we've ever gone
together
side by side
we'll glide
towards the trail
of shooting stars
where
forever and a day
we shall remain
cradled in
the lullaby
of our
eternal love...

Those are some of the most reassuring words I could ever imagine to hear uttered from a lover's lips.

What a delicate beauty you've penned. The shorter lines and your unique style works really well with this

Take care,

sweet friend, this is absolutely a stunning
write! your emotion in this brought tears
to my eyes...it's just so beautiful!

i loved the entire piece but i particularly
enjoyed this following stanza:

Embrace
the essence
of who
I really am
rather than
frame me
into an
identity
of someone
from your
fantasies...

Simply gorgeous writing my friend.
take care.
