There are words I wait for
not even knowing
I wait

until one of you
writes
and my day relaxes
in response

for your hearts
your thoughts
your poetry
I thank you

Nicely done Ducan and thank you as well for your kind comments, they mean a lot too.

Duncan,

Duncan, I feel the same. Sometimes I don't even know it, until something just hits me in the heart.

I'd say "shucks, t'weren't nuttin'..." but that's not true...I've seen so many souls roam these halls it is not even funny...I've heard tears fall, saw glitter gleaming, felt bubbles popping, and dreams escape on golden wing...

and I've seen YOUR writing...and thank you!

Duncan--

Excellent!  I see why you write in free verse.  You are so good at it!  Miss you in the workshop.  I am still learning poetry forms and enjoying the education.  I still love free verse...especially yours!

Aren't these pages just inspiring?!?
