Against desires I remain bound
by bond of one of two.
Within my heart in love once found
for dearest, thine I do.

Mine eyes absorb thy every sway
as down thy path refrain.
Scattered mem'ries wilt not display
thy sadness or thy pain.

Decree this love I do wish give
to thee from heart and soul.
A wish of one to have and live
as bells of vows do toll.

One love of thee in life and death
and mome’ of when and then.
One heart of soul that sheds a breath
from chest with love therein.

For wilt thee give thy heart to me
as mine arms doth enfold.
As words of song I sing to thee
of visions we wilt hold.

As thee doth rest in softest light
with eyes of sleep in dream.
I give to thine a kiss this night
when once we wade the stream.

(smiles) You are a modern talented poet with the heart of a classical romantic, sweet friend, I just love the archaic voice you associate with your work, this is outstanding! (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I love your courtly romantic poems, Barry.
You are so good at these.

Magnus - This is truly a fine, romantic piece.  Really liked the style as well.  Nicely done.
