The Voice
I hear a voice inside my head
That repeats every word you said
And screams your name so loud to me
That, my love, I long for thee

I long to hold your hand
I long to walk with you in the sand
I long for the glance of your eyes
My love, I long to say hi

When I see you the voice opens the lid
And screams words of passion into my head
so loud that they causes my ears to bleed
As my heart admits that you're what it needs

Silent the voices are now, unfazed
Until I once again meet your glaze
Then the booming voices echo through the halls
As, once again, my life stalls.

Then my heart focus's in on you
And speaks of love so true
that tears engulf my eyes
And I beg not to have to say goodbye.

But so quick is the voices way
That I always manage to forget to say
These words I speak firm and true
Cassie, I love you.
