The Shores of Alone

I saw this movie today..highly recommend it!! Though my poem is not really about it.

If I could have a time machine
or use of one for just a bit
I'd go straight back to sixty nine
and try to do things with more wit.

And if I could go back less far
I still would bring back everyone
who have now gone to other planes
and keep them with me in the sun.

If I could have a time machine
I would love more than I first did
And make sure there was ne'er a doubt
of where my heart and soul should live.

If I could have a time machine
I'd not forget all I have seen...

Lovely Sandra!! Chris

oh, lil sis, you just hit on one of my fav fantasies!!  To be able to move around in time, and 'choose' what time to be in....yeah, that would be quite a feat!!  Wonderful write, and I enjoyed, as I always do your work!!!!

The road goes on forever, and the stories never end!

That would be the trick alright - remembering all you knew, but you know, if I had a time machine I would be one wild and crazy kind of girl, yes I would!

The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives.

Ah yes! Sweet, sweet memories. Fun in the sun!

Sandra, this is very beautiful. And to think! Our best times are yet ahead of us!
Wheeee! You'll see! Like a roller coaster ride at the carnival.
