I was his angel,
his darling angel.
He said he loved me...

I was his angel,
his darling angel.
He said he'd never hurt me...

"It wasn't me" was his motto
I was too blind to see
Didn't want to think he'd
Actually lie to me.

Now I'm a "freaky girl"
With love for another...
Shaggy's words ring oh so true
When I hear that song I still think of you

I was his angel,
his darling angel.
Now I belong to another.
"Angel" by Shaggy was the song I shared with the first guy I loved.

YAY!!! WAY TO GO!!!! Oh my gosh, this is wonderful, sweet Rhonda, I too love Shaggy a lot, especially his "Angel" cover!
