I dreamt I was flying
in a Hubble Bubble,
looking down upon the Earth
from 360 miles high
in an azure sky.
I'm ready to discover
worlds beyond here
to explore the Universe
with my new glasses in place,
thanks to the efforts of
astronauts of the human race,
who set my lenses properly
back in place and
gave me solar wings and
more energy.
Now I'm on my way
to take new snapshots
of the galaxy,
and if all goes well,
you'll see them in May.
Have a great day!

You have penned perfectly about one of our
modern miracles that allows us to see things
we have all only dreamed of for hundreds if
not thousands of years.....

Magnus, thanks. I"m betting it's such a fantastic view that even Jules Verne couldn't have imagined the likes of it.

Nancy, you are so kind. Now if only I could figure out a way to get my hands on some green wealth! LOL, I'm always broke in that category.

Oh yeah! This was good!

I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming, terrified, like his passengers.

Who knows...it could happen!  I recall two "flying" dreams.  One, I was in a big lucite-type cube, spinning up into the air. (?)  The other, I was flying and then fell to earth into this big grassy meadow...I think it turns out to be one at a place where I worked for a while, and, ironically, they had a "flying" room, there (for yogic flying, which I never tried or had much yearning to try).

Thanks Nan, it was a fun write.

Accordionmaid, how 'bout a dream poem with you flying that square lucite cube? Maybe it increased your lucidity??? Maybe it let you 'get your life's problems squared away' from a new perspective??? It could be a fun write.

After giving it a bit of thought, I don't know about writing specifically about the cube...but, I do have a poem and an essay which I may combine and rewrite into something.

Lucidity and squared away...good codes, and probably on target.

The only other thing I really pulled out of the "cube" dream is that I eventually did some studies that involved the cube, and it actually was interesting to me, while in algebra class I don't think I was as interested.

Anyway, I'll see what I can come up with.

Accordonmaid, aren't dreams fascinating? They can inspire, they can help you sort through the day's unfinished business, they can scare the 'daylights' out of you. Whatever you come up with, I'll read. And may the Lucidity muse guide your pen.

Hi, Blues. It would be quite a trip, wouldn't it? Imagine the poetry we could write about that one.
