Abandoned again
my muse is apparently
crying at the cemetary
while I try to sit here and write
It is a hopeless cause.

I miss you all, can't seem to write.Or even read that well.

Sandra

Sandra, don't be confused by a muse
Just write about anything in ones and twos
Free, structured, rhyme of loose
Dance with me in love that soothes,

Just write, Sandra. Write! About day
About night!
Doesn't matter dark or light
Blind or sight, Just write!

((Sandra))

It's OK to be quiet for a while. We can feel you are still here. Peace and warm hugs to you.

Your words will return.  They always do and thank goodnesss for that, for we would surely miss them.

Earth will spin on as before
Gulls still race along the shore
Morning star, still kiss the dawn

Sandra your muse will come back.  She has been under strain of late and just needs a bit of a rest.  Not to worry...we are thinking about you.
Just relax and read when you feel up to it.
~Warm hugs, Nancy~

Try to think of writig as therapy, Sandra...
thats what always seems to work for me.
Write about whatever it is that is causing your pain...even if it doesn't look like poetry, write it and submit it here.

sandra....sit on those shores....see the sun rise...the waves and their flow...the sound
it's wild roar...and know that she will come
whispering at first .....then pouring like the electrified scene before you...mark
ps I'm makin' wire sculptured faces @ 3am
and fighting all the obstacles in order to reach the flow....knowing it will come

Sandra,
maybe your muse is like mine, in that it likes to play hide and seek!! But you always come back with such beauty and grace...so don't worry...be happy!!

The road goes on forever, and the stories never end!

Catalina dear. I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS, LOL, but the harder you try the worse it is. I find  that if you just sit back and relax she(he) comes right back...floria

You all so sweet. I think I am just sad and don't want to overdo it on the maudlin poetry. I am going to see a movie today-the Time Machine- maybe it wil get me going again.
Love to you all.

Odd as it may seem, I've done quite a bit of writing in cemetaries.  Perhaps your muse will return with more than a tear, Sandra.  In the meantime...have lots of butter on the popcorn!

Yep, I know where you’re coming from with this one Sandra. My get up and go seems to have got up and went. Been searching…can’t find it. Lets open a bottle of wine and wallow in some misery…that’s my mood today.   Hope the movie was good.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
