The Warmth of Red

Feet.
Ten toes sticking out from under the covers.
Five white, five painted red…
funny, how they share the same bed.
If I were those white ones,
looking so naked against those lovely red ones,
I’d quiver in anticipation – yes, just like that!
I’d slowly move closer, don’t want to rush,
and closer still, pausing for effect,
then gently, ever so slightly, I’d touch…and hold -
that position long moments or more – feeling,
only feeling, the warmth of red.

Maybelline and Loreal would probably love for you to help them with names for new colors!   I enjoyed this.  It would be interesting to find out what feelings nail polish colors bring to men's minds.

jwesley,

Wow! This is great. A really neat poem! Love that color red on lips, fingernails and toenails. Also looks good on sweaters, skirts, dresses, gloves, hats and especially those dashing red cars. Wheeeeeee! There is no better color on a lady than red! It says, look at me I'm alive. Wheeeeeee! I Love it!! Especially on five little toes.

"Red" must be either asleep or not ticklish.
