I saw red-breasted robins
beneath branches of nakedness
wings skiing in last patches of snow
as I drove through the park one day

The geese were ice skating
upon the mirror of the pond
I saw you brushed within the sky
upon pastel daydreams floating by
touched by the breeze of yesterday
and when I looked again
sapphire and you did blend
like we did
like watercolors back then

If I were a red-breasted robin
waiting patiently for spring to come
i would weave my nest
with wings of memories
til cherry blossoms unfold
in the morning sun

Victoria darling girl oh this is sooooooo good. Truly outstanding, as always, you are such a fine poet. I love the way you’ve written this, it’s utterly superb, the flow is divine all the way through. And the imagery is utterly utterly excellent.

This really is an excellent piece darling girl you have excelled yourself.

Wonderful writing utterly wonderful

YAY!!! Oh my gosh, this is sooooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, I love robins so much, just as I love sparrows and other songbirds and almost every bird! (kiss on cheek) May you forever cherish your happy fondest memories and may your heart bloom with cherry blossoms of many more to come, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Victoria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Exceptional imagery here, Victoria.
It makes me proud to be able to post at a website with such fine poets as yourself.
