See these puckered scars?

Flames burned bright
and I was drawn to the light
seeking heat to warm
the empty marrow of my heart.

I perhaps too tender
or perchance the flicker too intense
was singed to fall in writhe
with burning ache of ideal
shredding bits of me
on each convulsive start
and tear

See these scars?
They are from love in unrequite
and torture still in dead of night
when I remember flames that burned so bright

You were expecting me, right?
*smiling at you*
OK ... Now Im gonna look behind all my mirrors and close my blinds tighter at night cuz you been peeking Capt.

Well, this is engraved on my mothy soul ...
and every line is burned in my skin.
I have lots of singe-proof mascara, but I dont think that'll be of any use to you *S*
Im taking this one for mine poet sir...
and thanking you for it..it belongs in me mothy library.Trust me...youre in good company...many pretty blue flames there.

So it seems your saving grace was only saving face,
you thought he was wanting you...
but he was only wanting you to let him off the hook.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Ron, this is so very sad, my heart goes out to you and your aching heart and the memories of love you hold! (big hugggssssss) My thoughts are with you always, sweet friend, I pray that soon true love will touch your heart and leave your heart swimming with many happy memories! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is powerful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I have these kind of scars too but keep them hidden beneath the fantasies I weave...Your heartfelt poem touches me...**big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
