Vampiress Of The Vaults

I peek into their loneliness
peering into their cells
sleeping they look so innocent
but that’s a story I know quite well
they all have their own story
at times I’m too preoccupied to hear
but can see the anger trapped inside them
is turned around inward fear
they have done things I’ve never thought of
some are heroes of the darkest world
the biggest difference between them and me
is the side of the cage the keys are twirled
there are many types of prisons
and some have no bars
the ones we place ourselves in
show the deepest of our scars

"Pour yourself thick, when it is you, that you spread."

Dear Poetess - your writings have been hitting home for me as of late. This is very well done - Bravo! Chris

their gant eyes
and hungry mouths
with desire their blood

they the night lords
of lonely
that whisper death voice songs

loved the view of your words

(big huggggssssss) This is so very sad but wonderful, sweet friend, I have been locked inside my own prison for so so long and I know this feeling so very well, just as my heart goes out to all who feel this way though I know deep down there will come a time when they will be free and rich in love with faith in all my heart! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

wave not your cloak of darkness yet
for there is always the sun
but yet, in the prison of the heart
not even the moon shines. . .

you give this character much life and experience indeed helen . . . excellent. . .
