Your camera is now in my possession And your eyes are now part of mine I take photographs of natural beauty The scenery around me is so divine Such a love you had for photography This same love you have instilled in me You come to mind so very often Especially when I have my camera with me But the most treasured of all my photos Are the ones I have here in my mind Such images are irreplaceable In an ordinary album you will not find They are pictures of you everlasting That I hold deep inside my heart Images of you will never fade Nor will the love you did impart So many memories I have of you In this album within my mind So much love shines from these images When I see your face so warm and kind Many of the passions you had in life Have now been passed on to me Though sometimes my days may seem cloudy Through the lens it's you that I see I see you amongst the flowers You are the brightest one on show You meant more to me than anything How I wish I had told you so I can't reverse the hands of time So through my pen I'll write my love And I hope I have made you proud As you view my life from up above Suetang |

Hello Floria Yes, I have been thinking of my Dad more than normal lately and you observed this so well. If it wasn't for my love for him, maybe I never would have picked up a pen to write. It upsets me sometimes that in all that I have done he wasn't here to share in my triumphs and that breaks my heart. Thank you for your constant encouragement and I know, like myself, your writing helps you a lot and the love you had for your son is so very evident in everything you write.
