Touched by the moonlight of your smile
your Venetian eyes linger for a while
upon the kismet of a kiss in the night
I surrender to inviting arms of love
close to the destiny of your heart
beating softly to sonatas of dark
the waves of your voice entice me
a whisper within a gondola for two
drifting within the canals of passion
Donatello gently sculptures our hearts
olive tree breeze kindles the starlight
I enjoy the sweet wineries of your lips
lost within your al dente embrace
and the sweet bouquet of your kiss

"Mistakes are the portals of discovery."
-- James Joyce

I found myself inhaling as I read these lines... I was that far away on the wings of your words. *S* This is beautiful.
