Lessons in Lovemaking

by Michael

Love lowers to a whisper in bed,
words softly spoken and so few said.
Though times may change, this custom’s still true.
Romance dictates certain things we do.

It always starts with a close embrace
and is shared in a warm, cozy place.
For love can paint darkness, shape a nest
and from each, will always seek the best.

Kisses drawn out, as kisses should be.
Why would you rush such tranquility?
Exchanging of breaths, blushing of skin,
yet still not time for them to begin.

Savor each moment and cause it to live.
The night’s still young, you've so much to give.

(sigh) Oh Michael, you are sooooooooo romantic, this is exactly how I dream of loving my dream girl, my sweet Gwenevere, in the future, I want to stare up at the stars with her and slowly feel each breath, every whisper, every sigh, every word from love slips! (big hugggsssss) Your words always make me smile, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Susan,
Thank you for loving this.  Lovemaking is all too often rushed. *S*

Victoria,
Thank you!  Nice to see you here. *S*

Nancy,
Isn't romance just wonderful?  Thank you and *hugs* back. *S*

Floria,
I appreciate that, thank you!  Romance is sensual, don't you think?  *S*

Tara,
Then you may have it. *S*  Give it to Dave. LOL!  Seriously, thank you!

Noah,
Your reply is MUCH more sensual and romantic than this poem of mine.  Some day you'll make a woman very happy, my friend. *S*  Thank you!

Melissa,
Thank you and I'm glad you liked it. *S*

Morning star, still kiss the dawn

Great sonnet, great love poem. I like the way you've described that wonderful moment in the night when magic happens between two lovers.  ****Ivy Rose
