Your poetry "My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer." NIV Psalm 45:1 Last night I awakened and you were there I smelled your sweet lotion, powder, and hair A glow in the air, sweet music I heard As softly I listened to ev'ry word. I nursed from your sweet breast of poetry Imbibing sweet verses, you poured into me I savored your honey deep in my soul Thoughts flowing in rhyme as I became whole. There is no place where I would rather be Than under your blanket of poetry Adoring your soft sweet verse as you trill Sweet songs from your soul as I'm lying still. So come, darling, please, come into my bed Sing to me sweetly soft words that you knead As I dream, heavenly, your words softly near Listening to ev'ry verse you hold dear. As you take me to your far away star My spirit aflame; as I burn and char Blazing in vapor through your distant blue As I listen to poetry from you. Your poetry.
