etch for me
on the
frozen parchment
the story
of your life

not in an axel
or a lutz
but in lines
and curves
the movements
of your soul

and when
the cheering is done
the tears are shed
and the medals won
                    or lost

let me look
at the lines
and curves

to see
your life

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world.

Sven, I'm afraid my life would not take on gracious lines and curves, but rather triple toe loops and spins!  I do wish for lovely lines and curves to show my life's path....but alas..the music has been too fast.
Love this one....I sure do!

Yes Sven...it is the more subtle and graceful
things that we all enjoy for a very long
time...Nicely said Sir...

Sven,
the magic of ice skating is wonderfully portrayed...I will watch from the sidelines.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Wow Sven,

This is very cool. I love the idea and thoughts behind it!
I'm impressed!
