In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-03-04 11:18 AM

Of  Snowflakes Falling,
The Time In Between

And would it be that way?
Angels falling like snowflakes
Gently down, to settle
Among earth

A formal dance
Of coldness and wind
Shifting skies,
Brilliant clouds,
Elegantly touching

Would you then hear the silence?
That which
We breathe in delicate
Manner, to let these moments
Spill their beauty
In a hunger only
The soul can know

Could we feel the same?
In endless light,
Grasping lonely time,
Reaching beyond
Extended whys,
Our being trying to comprehend

Do poets chant and swear?
If we feel, Do we then
Know the magic of starlight,
Arriving after dusk?
Will it take the path
Of a thousand footprints
To understand
The meaning

Go gently then,
Embrace the night
Continue to fall
In your soft walk
Among the earth
You taught me the meaning
Of love

Nothing can stay

Greeneyes~

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows
of my heart

These are my fav lines, but this entire piece is so soft and touching.  Your emotions put to perfection in words.  Wonderful sweetie!!

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

What a beautiful thought Laren, and since we have over ten inches of snow. Well, there are angels all over my lawn and roof. Thank you for this poem. It is delightful. floria

The thought of this is softer than even the most quiet of down.

Thank you.

the title of "Feel" is most appropriate ...
for I do feel your words...and they are warm as morning sun and soft as butterfly wings.
this is exquisite poetess Lauren

So it seems your saving grace was only saving face,
you thought he was wanting you...
but he was only wanting you to let him off the hook.

the meaning is that nothing stays. . . hmmmm. . . I'm wondering about that. . .

what else can I do but wonder. . . you always seem to lead us to that place of wonderment Lauren. . . excellent. . .

(kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is beautifully touching! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Sometimes I may not fully understand what the meaning might be, but I listen,
I am always in awe of your words,
though I may be a little bias

sitting on the curb just listening
