Of brass and the glass of inner reflections,
Kaleidoscopic, those changes in years.
Quiet wishes, unlock with each turn.
In fragmented pieces, become verbal tears.

Touching the warm, where it always takes two,
next to the silence of thoughts on grief.
Reflections stirred falling further away
A glimpse of myself, beauty fades, disbelief.

Somewhere a place, infinity resides.
The saga of two willing hearts hope in time.
She wanting He, of word gifts they share
And when calm takes hold, both daydream in rhyme.

Hazel eyes of mine, view no promises.
Perhaps one kiss, off in silence beyond.
I'm lost in you, in waves of loving
My Someone, just.. for today please respond.

Maureen

maureen...

the passage u were able to wrapped in words
with an appreciable serenity, is one we often
undergo, again and again.  that u were able
to do so...is, to me...very admirable...

i only wish that i could *speak* in the same
way..someday...

~V~Yes I had to use your Hazel Eyes *s
mostly everyone writes of the blue
or green ones...thanks
hugs
M

doreen...I thought you might get a kick out
of this. I am a bit run down, too many
poetic endeavors this weekend. But the time
was on my hands and the titles were in
front of me and fit my mood. Thank you
for your offering. *s

Lauren...At first I did use that title..but
it didn't fit the bill and then I thought
Re Titled worked for me *s thank you.
((hugs)) to you too
M

Floria, I tried my best to include as many as I could. My poem was beginning to be long. Next time, I will reach into your words *s  thank you
M

Martin...thank you for  being "My Someone" of the moment *s  making me smile
hugs
M

*by the way I couldn't keep up with your repetitious lettering..it drove me nuts  just doing one at a time!!

Hope, it was your fragmented pieces and Kaleidoscopic by Regina that started my mind working *s  Thank you for that
hugs
M

quietwaters (Ray)... you give me much too much credit, the words existed for me to string together. *s I appreciate your
kindness..and want you to know that your words have already  *spoken* to me and
inspired me and though I can do that easily,
I choose my subjects very carefully.
Your "someday" is close by...*w
thank you again
