Doing It Right
By Larry Chadwick

Talent the bane of pride,
Tempted by flattery.
Yielding, the error
Not satisfactory.

Just being in demand,
A possibility of conceit.
The need to say no,
Longing to be discreet.

Mistakes of the past,
And lessons learned.
Reaping the harvest,
Pain well earned.

Humility so elusive,
It cannot be sought.
Pride so destructive,
It need not be taught.

Torn between serving,
And walking away.
Harness the pride,
Remember the way.

Wisdom in the words Larry.  Enjoyed.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Larry hi there, there is much wisdom in this poem, I think you’re a philosopher, thank you for my morning lesson of wisdom.

Let’s hope I can remember it, but probably not, I do tend to make the same mistakes over again

BRAVO!!! Ooohhhhhhh...this is wonderful wisdom, sweet friend, I believe that we should all harness pride while we also put it away in times where we reflect upon our mistakes, but use it when we follow our hopes and dreams! (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
