Two White Houses...

On Maple Street,
two houses stood,
two stories high,
both built of wood.
Painted white,
with light blue shutters,
below the eaves,
both ringed with gutters.
Rose lined walks
led to front doors,
one was mine,
and one was yours.
On each mailbox,
address and name,
upon each house,
both were the same.
