In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-03-03 04:32 PM

My inner reflections feel
your whisper, your wings of thought&
simple poems speak of love and
desire, but there is no simplicity
where angels tread and eagles soar&
moments of time are gazed upon
in love and faith of the heart,
my heart but a single thread waiting
for you to weave together the colors
of us like the light from the sun or the moon
gathering it's flame from the same strength

We freely flow from
the same stream blending
waters into the vast sea, yet I feel as
lonely as the pelican perched
upon a hardened wood piling
driven deeper in drowning
waters caught by the under toes of life
teach me your life, show me how it feels,
show me how it feels in the shadows of loss
you pull in and I begin to see, I become what
others see me as, and still you touch me like no other,
but there are times I need a defense against my heart
expressed silently as my world takes shape
where underneath the wheels of passion you
leave me stranded as you have before

still you touch me

Greeneyes~

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows
of my heart

oh girl...dont I know this.
as I was reading this, a song line came to mind..."the consequences of falling" ...
*sigh* ... the moth in me says the fall is worth it all...but then those defences kick in.
Beautiful write of inner discovery.

you thought he was wanting you...
but he was only wanting you to let him off the hook.

(smiles) Wow, this is excellent, sweet friend, your words never cease to amaze me, passion indeed can be difficult to bear sometimes but as long as we keep conscientious, true joy will come to us all! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Lauren,
Yup...you did it! And what deep meaning in this heart felt poem. I haven't seen quite this style from you before but still that classic Lauren impact. Lovely...simply lovely.

Lauren hi there, this is really deep in meaning and content and very very lovely. You’ve written this well very well

I see my mum has been here before me, which shows she has taste, and also that I didn’t get a chance to make my contribution to the blue pages last night. Ha mum, I got here eventually

Love and warm stuff
