The days no longer young as twilight’s here
She sits a time worn and dirty old chair.
Day after lonely day, wondering where?
Remembering those moments they did share.

Where is the man that turned a beating heart?
Who showed to her compassion from the start
Buckets of emotions from his pen flowed
bathing her with passionate words bestowed.

Hundreds of poems stashed in a safe place
where time and moisture could never erase
Lost in a world of his romantic verse
One special poem tucked into her purse.

After a meal at a table for one
After the set of the now falling sun
After the bath where she soaks in her dreams
She reads, she smiles...

....as they walk crystal streams....

A good paint of a person reminiscing on the past.

Sadly and hauntingly romantic, Barry

Where is the man that turned a beating heart?
Who showed to her compassion from the start
Buckets of emotions from his pen flowed
bathing her with passionate words bestowed.

That poor woman, but at least she has his poems.

Lyra....I am going to answer you first...

Everyone else please forgive me for not
getting your turn before this....

Lyra...Only the Poet knows where he is....

Gosh,  was I supposed to tell you that too..

you have got me laughing right now...How
silly of me to not include that part...Let's
see....hmmmmmm?????  Where is he...guess I
will have to write another one, won't I??

(big hugggssssss) Awwwwwww, this is so beautiful but sad, sweet friend, my heart goes out to the woman and the emptiness of her heart now, I know how hard it must be to lose a loved one close and have nothing but poems to try and re-master the visions of true love! (sigh) This is deeply heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Eagle scorpion...Yes...our memories live on
in our poetry...for us, those that we share
it with...and our loved ones...IF we leave
it for them...I have put all of mine on a
CD so that they may have them whenever I am
no longer able to share them...I want my
children to have them...

Blues Serenade...this story is not real...
but is my romantic mind...a woman who has
followed the writings of a man for many
years...until...he is not there any longer
to write or share his words...A romance of
two via poetry...I probably will add a twist
to this...  Thank YOU...
