For Willow

Play Quiet Wishes

~* Quiet Wishes *~

© Mysteria 03/2001

I’ve had this dream a thousand times.
I’ve dreamt I saw your beautiful face.
Your flaming hair in robes of white,
two open arms now hidden from sight,
that daylight will never replace.

I weep for a shared friendship lost,
a life taken when in full bloom.
Now I submit to your empathy
and plead you now to set me free
from this impenetrable gloom.

When you left, I sobbed that night
as anger struck my faith down.
It forced me down upon my knees,
begging God, “bring her back to me”
but I never heard a single sound.

I’ve seen your face a thousand times,
everywhere around me, in every place.
You’re the air I breathe, stars at night,
my comfort when I shiver in fright,
Please go now, rest in angelic grace.

~* Rest In Peace Willow *~

A Sunday sharing of my love for a forever friend.

OH Good Grief! This is beyond Beautiful! I love it, the song and the poem, and I don't need to be in this kind of mood today...but I'm glad I came into your poem here.

I adore the love you write about this friend with, Sharon. It is always beautiful and so tenderly hearfelt that it makes me want to smile and cry at the same time. Its been too long since I've read your work.

Lovely..as always...

For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me.

Mysteria...There is such a fragile beauty in this poem.  Loss turned into an inner prayer.  So sorry about your friend; but so glad you wrote your feelings down in this poem.   ***Ivy Rose

...and I allow the music...play...
for I would write the words to say...
she is there, right in your heart,
a place where she got her start...

a Willow friend, a memory
and I am glad, you've shared She...
