Soul of the Pen

Beauty laying in the heart, the soul,
comes out as words from the writers' pen,
a gift to all who read
and tuck them away, within.
I hold thine words as tight as life,
savoring each with mind and soul,
and return thine gift enmeshed in mine,
this life I am is yours, dear friend.

....especially to Helen, and to all, our hearts are the foundation upon which heaven is supported, and the base of that foundation lies herein.

Yes Jimmy, I am not one to just brush across a poem and reply, I read and savor every word, turn it around and upside down, and get every meaning out of it. Unfortunately all my responses are not detailed because of time limitation and I want to be fair in answering all....but yes, the poem is to be savored. floria

Beautifully done!!  There is nothing like a true friend who never leaves you regardless of what life throws your way.

she definitely has beauty in the soul of her pen, jw..as do many others on here including yourself. So many of your responses are as beautiful as your poems. *s

Beauty laying in the heart, the soul,
comes out as words from the writers' pen,
a gift to all who read
================================

and this is a beautiful gifting from your pen.
So good to see your smiling face here again poet sir....seems too long since I've read you.

So it seems your saving grace was only saving face,
you thought he was wanting you...
but he was only wanting you to let him off the hook.
