Angel in a Raindrop

by Michael

Three thousand miles, before it fell,
a special drop of rain that day.
I held it in my hand in awe
and could not think of words to say.

An angel, within drop of rain,
a miracle, before my eyes,
said, “I am here to ease your pain,
to soothe your hurt, to hush your cries.”

Within my hand, she whispered words,
“Please know you’ll never be alone,
for I have seen a friend of yours.
She says, a part of her, you own. “

“You have a place within her heart.
She loves you more than you could know.”
I listened as she spoke to me
and watched her tiny figure glow.

She spread her wings, as if to fly.
I asked if she would stay with me.
She turned and said, “I’ll never leave,
for brighter days you are to see. “

I placed her on my writing desk,
picked up my pen, that I might write.
Through drop of rain, she touched my hand.
The darkness in my life, was light.

I penned this poem to tell you all
that miracles do still exist.
One day, an angel drop of rain,
may fall, if you do not resist.

This was pretty, Micheal. I love the thought of Angels being with us when we don't realize it.

For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me.

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this is soooooooo beautiful, this brought a tear to my eye reading this to feel the sensitive imagery! (big hugggsssssss) I too have these kind of feelings sometimes whgere I can't decide if these are just voices of things I've never seen or if they are actually really whispering to my heart! (sigh) This is beautiful, sweet friend, always hold these words true to your heart for she will always love you so much forever and ever, just as I know you always will! We all love you so much, sweet friend, I'm  adding this to my library because it's outstanding! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Auguste - I really liked the idea of the angel coming down in a raindrop.  Very creative and very good.

Michael,
It must be an Angel kind of day...but I loved the imagery in this. If Angels can reside in raindrops can they also reside in tears? If so I think I have an army of them hiding behind my eyelids.

if she would just insist
on coming my way
and lighting up my day

Oh, such a really wonderful piece that made me smile despite of my gloomy mood.
So thank you soooooo much....

& I hope it would come my way soon...
Would you tell her, please?

Thank you

hi Jennifer,
Yes, I've had experience with angels so I know they exist and keep an eye on us. *S* Thank you

Noah, thank you and very sincerely.  I'm honored that you would put this in your library.*S*  Just so you know, this angel is very real, my friend.

Dave,
Thank you!  She really is in a raindrop. I promise! *S*

Thank you, Tara.  I love seeing your posts on my work. *S*

Susan,
You don't know how happy it makes me knowing that you enjoyed this.  Thank you!  Still, I'm not sure I'll be able to convince everyone that it's true and not just something I made up. *wink*  (((hugs)))

James,
You certainly are a man of few words, but they're always kind and most appreciated. *S*  Thank you!

Martie,
I think everyone deserves an angel in a drop of rain.  Open your heart and believe.  Yes, she's real.  *S*  Thank you!

Kethry,
You're very sweet.  Yes, in tears and also in dewdrops.  Look close and you might see one.  *S*  Thank you!

Neha,
She promised not to leave and I truly believe her. *S*  I hope you also find an angel.  Thanks!

Floria,
I'm looking at her right now as I write. *S*  Do believe, my friend. Thank you!

Susan,
No, I can't give away how my angel arrived, but I will ask that others look more closely the next time it rains.  Thank you, sweet friend. (((hugs)))

MyEnchanted_Melody,
If I caused I single smile with this poem then it was worth posting.  Thank you much!  Yes, I'll tell her. *S*

Nancy,
Yes, they're all around us.  Sometimes our friends are so like angels in the blessing they friendship becomes.  Thank you dearly! *S*

Susan,
Nope, not telling the "whole" story, as it's personal. *wink*  (((hugs)))

Sandra,
You already have many angels in your life.  Start counting your friends and think of how much each one cares about you. *S*  Thank you

Lia,
Angels do exist.  I could tell you a story that would simply amaze you.  Thanks for reading and your nice comments. *S*

Victoria,
Thank you much, my friend. *S*  *hugs*
