March blew in with lips pursed hard
As winters woolies to discard
And through the trees a chilly breeze
Intent to lift bare skirted knees

March along to frolic in open-eyed retort
Blow the humdrum colic to find a gleeful sport
And jubilate the peek behind every puffy cloud
There began a giggle to resonate so loud

March to my amusement, created on my floor
As many pretty colors as spring alive so sure
And here create the boxy or the pointy imaged kite
And there to face the wind again and run with all my might

March can be no better, a preview yet to come
Blow your cheer around me and give me room to run
And through the yards of neighbors and out along the road
The longest tail I tied to trail as far as winds had blowed

The promise of spring captured in the windy days of March.  Very uplifting.  Well done.
