At half past forgotten
My story begins
I sit in the darkness
See if who dares wins

My half-life of shadows
That all comes to this
A path that's corrupted
By moments of bliss

Forgotten, forsaken
A child of the dark
Malformed by the moment
Of memories stark

My terror and trauma
Are welded by fear
And captures the minutes
To entrap me here

A story a legend
A something called myth
I long for freedom
And one to share with

But here in the darkness
Insanity grows
At half past forgotten
So nobody knows

I scream and I struggle
All to no avail
The demon that holds me
Will always prevail

A cry in the nighttimes
Means nothing more
Than quick surrender
A slam of the door

Trapped in the madness
Held to life's throes
At half past forgotten
The past always shows.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Kethry, this is so very sad, my heart goes out to you and I pray that now everything is alright and while this pain may forever rest in your past, you have found new happiness to ease the sorrow! (kiss on cheek) My thoughts are with you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kethry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Keth darling sister of my heart and keeper of my soul this is simply exquisite, I love the flow of this darling girl it is so full of aching and pain filled sadness.

This writing is so full of emotion it throbs through it, you’ve painted a picture of pure pain the type that scars a soul for eternity. This is the reason you are a writer darling heart. YOU can describe this anguish so well.

Wonderful darling heart utterly utterly wonderful. You’ve always been good, actually you’ve always been pretty near perfect, but now you’re outstandingly superb. Beautiful darling heart sister really beautiful writing on a subject that isn’t beautiful at all

Kethry - these words gave me chills as I have been "welded by fear." Very thoughtful piece of work. Chris

Auntie Kethp this is a very powerfully written piece of history. Mum’s said it all really, you are indeed a writer of deep emotion

I knew I'd suffer for letting her oust me from the computer earlier, she's got to all the poems first. Big grin

I wub you

Kethry
Remembered and wanted,
a poet of light.
You frighten me here
with the pain that you write.

Freedom and love
are freely given.
Take them and lose
the pain you have written.

Keth - This write is exceptional.  You definitely write about a wide array of emotions and topics.  I think my watch is keeping the same time as this write.lol  Nicely done.

Hey everyone I have no intention of scaring anyone here, but at three thirty am this morning "half past forgotten" was such a cool phrase I had to get it down and then the rest flowed. You all know how poetry is, sometimes it takes on a life (or several lives ) of its own.

Deer, That's not fair! I have not set off any alarms (except in my head) and the neighbourhood stands - thank you very much!.

Maree, I am amazing and so is Monica. I have discovered she is omniscient so she sees and I write - dynamic duo stand aside cause Keth and Eilidh are back together.
