Love Was Her Only Gift

She once believed her heart could tell truth.
In medieval pursuit, she was quested by Knight.
The Lady she was, can no longer exist.
Her dove's flown away and her chamber lacks light.

Love was her only gift to the night.

Intense of desire, attraction was held
By he, masked in Darkness, blinding her sight.
Mistaken emotions, of falsehood in feel.
Colours of love remained silent, in spite.

Love was her only gift to her Knight.

Under his influence, reality was spared.
Shadows came creeping, tempting her plight,
On Merry-Go-Round, 'til was left solitaire.
Fabled in silence, she paled, slight of white.

Love was her only gift in the night.
Love was her only gift...
Love was her only...
Love was...
Love...
...

Lady Ollyne

Love was,  love is...love will forever be..
Yay thee know is love doth keep thee well
For not with love,  thee flower doth wilt
Into thine soul thee doth find thy love
For thee art a lady...our Lady of O.

Lady Nan,
Thank you.
'Twas a tale
of my past.
Lady O..

Sir Noah,
You seem to always understand
the words and intentions.
Her gifts some day
will be shared.

Love is a personal and precious gift to give,
and if we are lucky it is received that way.

Getting lucky is the hard part~~

Lovely sentiment Lady O~

If slight of white could make it right I would sheathe thee in the colours of the rainbow.
Lady,
always thou dost move mine heart in sympathy.

and if love is to be the sweet risk
than, who nobler, more assured,
than a Knight
who will protect jealously
and guard with valor
the gift that has the most cost
but is free

Lady O, your words are wine
that gives me chills,

O' Lady fair, though thee hast felt the sting of love's deception,
from inutile knave, who lurks in shadows of the night,
thee wil'st taste of passion's tender kiss, love's transformation,
when thee dost meet in glow of welkin's glow, thy one true knight.

Enjoyed your poem muchly, nicely written.

Sir JamesM,
This Lady sends you
a smile of thanks *w
Ollyne

Lady Blues,
To share my love
was my only wish. To have
someone receive it
and share theirs in return
would be a greater gift.
Thanking thee,
Lady Ollyne

Lady Kethry,
I love thy coloured thoughts,
but actually slight of white
meant little white lies *s
The Lady is pleased
to move thee.
Ollyne

Sir ShadowRider,
Loving is free, and should
be received as such.
Thy words touch the truth
on this subject.
Lady Ollyne

Lady Karilea,
Returning comes
of necessity.
Being missed
warms mine heart.

Lady Neha,
This Lady welcomes thee
and thanks thee
for thy kindness.

Lady Floria
Expression of love
as it's meaning
to another dwindled
to nothingness...
mine ending.
Thanking thee
for visiting.
Lady Ollyne

Lady Vandana,
*s

Sir Tim,
Heaven holds
the happiness
for all.

Lady Nancy,
Beauty is only in the
lives of those who
give and receive love.
Thank thee for thy
welcome. (hug)
Ollyne

Sir EagleScorpion,
The ending,
was the start
of my beginning.

Lady of Melody,
Her gift of love...
is too overwhelming
for most.

Lady Ivy Rose,
Soft Love may
sometimes not be enough
even though passionate.
Thanking thee,
Lady O

Sir Sven,
Thy words relieve
the frown from this face.
I return only
for want of kindness
such as thou
has left behind.

Lady Ollyne
