Long halls hear his step
Memories are in cobwebs kept
Illusion is still his to mirror
He’d never held one love dearer…
The midnight shadows are his cowl
And lo, one would forsake his scowl
Though still the night will see him prowl
His search incomplete, he still avows
To find that ever elusive quest
That LOVE which still holds him best…
