rain fell soft
as hesitation
she stood
one hand pressed
against the gateway

Inside
anticipation
turned to sighs
traced upon glass
with patient finger
sipping upon hope
in quiet reflection
~*~
On the threshold
sweet exhale ascended
in affirmation of
feelings shared
her approach
a whisper of hope
is this seat taken?

(smiles) Awwwwwww, this is sooooooo sweet, dearest friend, I love the continuation you made off of Robert's wonderful poem, I hope that we get to see if this is true love or not, I sure hope it is!
