In darkness of the night she weeps,
crying, numbed to pain.
She trembles,
no sleep,
no dreams of yesterdays,
for yesterdays are buried deep
with the walls of endless ache.
Hallway clock in cadence ticking,
bleak winds of March in sorrow creeping
through shuttered glass,
her soul intruding.
She shivers
until she has no pain to give.
Until,
in darkness of the night she sleeps.

Tim,
this really struck a chord with me. It made me cry. I feel this way every day.Diagnosed with RA possible Lupus I am in pain every day find it hard to sleep and have given up on remebering what it is like not to have pain..
although not your meaning I'm sure. it translated  itself to me in this way. beautiful words.this one I am saving.

Tim,
it gives a whole new meaning to resting in peace.

Tim-
You've penned the emotions well.
Nicely done.

This is one of those poems, Tim, which ask for a response...I hope you find it...

Thank you for the inspiration...

(big hugggsssssss) I think many women can relate to these feeling every now and then, sweet friend, just as I am a boy and I have felt this yearning! (sigh) This is sooooooo beautifully sentimental, sweet friend, may she find the love of her dreams and find true happiness forever! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tim, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
