I lost my way....for almost a year
I must of cried a thousand tears
I wondered if I could sustain
Regain my hope..with so much pain

Lost for a while, each step brand new...
Then like magic...I found "you"
With open arms you rescued me
For the first time now..my eyes do see

My heart was touched by your gentle ways
Your promise of love.. forever changed my days
Your passion soars, my spirit now flys
For all that was bad...I have said my goodbyes...

Thank you for loving this woman my dear
Thanks for the nights you hold me so near....
A lifetime of thanks to the man that I love...
A man that I know was sent from above.

Hi there, my friend. Glad to see you writing again. Finally got out of the bedroom long enough LOL. I have to say this is a wonderful love poem to someone who deserves it, and more, for making you so happy.
