Lady Buggerly

~*Marge Tindal*~

There is a Lady Buggerly
who greets you at the door
in The Cave of the Good Dreams
she gives the initial tour~

She has an ancient soul
and knows her way around
She will escort you to your room
where you'll sleep quite sound~

Hurry, scurry - right this way
you've many a good dream to make
Slipping away to the avenue of dreams
before the day does break~

When you wake to go
Lady Buggerly requires 'No Tips'
just the hint of a contented smile
playing on your lips~

*For my friend, June Somerford Williamson
who got as far as the cave door when greeted by Lady Buggerly.
She didn't know the tour was just beginning ... she does now~
Sleep well my friend~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Marge-
I love ladybugs and I LOVE this poem.
I think it's absolutely adorable!
There is a place south of here, near Tucson,
that is just covered up in ladybugs.
Reading this makes me want to go there again.
Hugs,
~Vicky

I have a soft spot in my heart for dream poems and love the idea of the cave of good dream....never grow up Marge and never stop dreaming...

What a great poem!  I love hearing about the Cave of Good Dreams and lady bugs are so neat!!  We get swarms of them here in the fall and they fill the air.  There are many insects I do not like however!

Marge this is a wonderful ladybug poem. And, if I liked bugs, a ladybug would be my favorite. Matter of fact, when I was a kid, I'd catch ladybugs and carry them around on my hand. But, I outgrew that. LOL!
