Under the moon of night in swoon to stay
to grasp and kiss and take the heart away.
To hold as one, become of moon so bright
A kiss of love, a kiss of life this night.

Between the stars, becomes the bright of sky
Between the hearts, before two birds then fly
Before the touch of softest flesh, the sigh
Into the glance, the knowing look of eye.

Resides in orb, the man of moon that calls
Under the gleam, the sparkling of the falls
Beyond the dream, into the glow of night
Born of the mome’, within the rays that light.

A pull that spurs our love and passion on
The force that drives within you not alone.
A month of wait till fires again do burn
A night of light that fuels two hearts in churn.

The moon in rise does take the breath from me
As heart does lift from force of gravity.
And when the howl of wolf does call our name
In lust we’ll roam in search of full moon’s game.

Aye, the moon does that, and yet one more night of glorious light, to find love in the shadows of the snowy glen....

well done, Sir...

Born of the mome’, within the rays that light" Great lines.floria

Barry!  Love it indeed!  We are all in a moon mood tonight it would seem. Or we have all been inspired by the full one tonight. Well done.
Hugs, Nancy.

Oh Barry!

This was visually stunning.  You painted such an exquisite picture from your words and I felt my self being swept away.  This is one of your best.

Take care.......Sue
