and yet, the glass
crystal clear
sits on the table
containing the liquid
pondered by eyes
used to seeing something
     on the other side
seeing now only the liquid
     half this
                half that
but yet,
         still contained

and yet, the glass
framed
overlooks the park
offering the view
pondered by eyes
that should have looked back
     as they walked by
seeing now only the brick
     red here
                white here
but yet,
     still framed

and yet, the glass
stained
glistens in the moonlight
telling the story
pondered by eyes
that fill now with
     the liquid contents
seeing now only the glass
multi- here
                -colored there
but yet,
     still the glass

(big hugggsssssss) Oh my gosh, you just gace this axiom of "Is the glass half-empty or half-full?" a whole new way of looking at it, sweet friend, this is excellent! (smiles) I think another big part of nunderstanding it is to see if color reflects off the glass, if you see the robin-egg blue sky or grayness, if it is rocking or if the water is still! (smiles) This is outstanding, sweet friend, we all love you so much, BRAVO!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sven, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

AD darling boy this is without doubt one of your utter best, the flow of this couldn’t be bettered. This is such a visual poem such as you excel at writing no one does these so well

As I’ve mentioned before darling boy you are a poet. This is sooooooo true and real, it touches deep into me today.

What can I say except this is utterly wonderful.

Who could find a flaw with this its utterly perfect

Love and warm stuff

Okay..maybe I'm just in a stupid mood tonight, but I don't think I'm getting this. While I don't doubt that its brilliant, and I don't doubt for a moment that you still are THE Sven Pen...I just don't understand this!

Sven
I agree with everyone else - very descriptive writing about a glass and your thoughts.  Enjoyed!
